November 2017 in our Gallery:

“A Colony of Things”
James Mulchinock

This exhibition opens on Friday, November 3rd, 7:00–9:00 PM
Exhibition runs through Sunday, November 19th, 2017.

James Mulchinock takes a childhood passion for collecting and makes it an integral part of his art practice. He gathers, arranges and transforms easily accessible objects—or their residue—such as driftwood, coat hangers, baseball marks. His aesthetic gravitates to objects that are both ubiquitous and unremarkable, and transforms them into unified fields that exist between painting, drawing, and sculpture.
