All volunteer positions will work with and be supported by members of the board of directors and the previous volunteer if possible. These roles are open to all Xchanges members including Students and Friends.
Gallery Exhibition Program Manager and Assistant(s) – volunteer
An exciting opportunity for our Gallery Exhibition Program Manager and Assistants begins March 1, 2020. These vital volunteer roles oversee and coordinate all activities associated wtih the exhibitions program including but not limited to:
- liason and main contact with exhibiting artists
- receipt and organization of electronic files and information
- coordination with promotions committee activities
- reporting activities status, requirements and outcomes to the board of directors
- coordination with individual show sponsors
- collection of exhibition data

Art Passage Curators – volunteer
Xchanges has an exciting opportunity for two additional Art Passage Curators. If you would like to learn how to curate exhibitions in this newly formed space and work in a collaborative environment, then this opportunity is for you!
This volunteer position will require working as part of a small team to coordinate, plan, and undertake several shows annually. Curators will be responsible for developing themes and choose the artists to be exhibited, plan, supervise and support the installation and removal of artworks, work with and supervise volunteer exhibition assistants, and coordinate promotion supports.
