Studio 7B: Available immediately. Dimensions 8’10” x 19’10” x 12’7″. $425.96 per month. This studio is part of a larger area and is shared with two other artists.

About Xchanges
Xchanges is a non-profit, volunteer run charity that serves the Capital Regional District’s artistic community through affordable studio rentals, rotating public exhibitions, and various art programming services. We currently have 9 studio spaces. Some are solo studies, some are shared.
Benefits of being a Studio Member
All studio members must be willing to become a member of Xchanges and actively participate in the artist-run-centre by attending meetings and sharing the upkeep of the centre (at minimum 4 hours per month).
Examples of volunteer tasks include sweeping common areas, keeping the kitchen clean, cleaning the washrooms, helping with Life Drawing, and serving a term on the Board.
We are seeking individuals who want to contribute to the Xchanges community and spirit!
Becoming a studio member, and an Xchanges member, includes benefits such as:

Studio Facility Features
- 24/7 facility access
- Two gender neutral washrooms (one with a utility sink)
- Shared kitchenette with a fridge and microwave
- Small wood working area with basic tools
- Storage area for life drawing easels and seats
- Lighting equipment for photographing artwork
- 5 parking spots
- Secure bike lock area
- Secure entrance gate
- Accessible by two flights of stairs (no elevator)

- Landline telephone for local outgoing calls
Other fees and information
- Annual Xchanges membership $40
- Key deposit: $10
- Security/damage deposit: 50% of one month rent
- Monthly rent due by the 25th of every month – by e-Transfer.
- NSF charges: $50.
- Two months notice to vacate. No subletting or other arrangements. All studio artists are approved by the board.
