It’s hard to believe it’s that time of year again – the coveted Xchanges Annual General Meeting – when we get together to review the year’s achievements and challenges, get a sneak peek of the year ahead, elect a new board, renew our membership and commitment to Xchanges success, and recruit additional volunteers. Nominations and  Election of  Board Executive and Directors for 2026/27

Condition for nominations for all positions:

Nominations can be sent in advance of the meeting via email to info@xchangesgallery.org, Subject: Board Nomination, AGM 2026, or use the RSVP form at the bottom of this post in the comment box.

Nominations can also be proposed during the AGM meeting.

Participation on the board:

• Minimum of 1 meeting per month, 2 hours.
• Other work outside of board meetings includes reviewing documents or information by email, decisions via email, committee or working group meetings, 2 -10 hours or more per month depending on role and tasks.
• Board members should not be absent without other forms of participation for more than 2 meetings in a row.
• All board members can participate/contribute remotely via Google Meet.
• Board member profiles and bio are posted publicaly on the About page of the Xchanges website.
• A two-year commitment is preferred.

Board and Committees:

There are a number of positions to fill on the board and in particular, we are looking for volunteers to provide leadership, expertise, and helping hands in a variety of areas including legal, financial and fundraising, marketing/PR/social media, volunteer coordination, project management, community engagement, business management and more.

Nominations Open for Strategic Advisors can be proposed at any time. Areas of focus can be on finance, legal, real estate negotiations, community development, fundraising or any other skill that someone can propose.
