Majenna K. is a painter of large canvases in which she uses her own body in imagined narratives painted in a glazing technique derived from the Northern Renaissance. Transparent glazes of pure pigment are layered over on a white ground to create a sense of luminosity in a subject matter that is embarrassingly private, macabre, and perverse.
