Practicing artists and appreciators are invited to attend an illustrated presentation, from the artist’s viewpoint, featuring Sandro Botticelli’s great Renaissance masterpiece from the Uffizi Museum in Florence. Increased appreciation of this magnificent painting has resulted from recent extensive scientific restoration which has revealed much detail, subtlety and beauty previously obscured.
