“I, Vanitas“
February 8 to 23, 2025
As we start to move out of the doldrum darkness of winter, our February exhibition features the vibrant works of April Winter. In I, Vanitas, Winter asks questions about life and death, wealth and poverty, and the significance of any given moment. Large scale photographic still life and self-portraiture images explore modern themes about the transience of life, futility of pleasure and wealth, and the certainty of death.
Join us for an opening reception on February 7 from 7 to 9 p.m. On Saturday, February 15th at 2 p.m., the artist will be giving a talk.
