No experience necessary – includes the handling collection at the museum

Xchanges is thrilled to announce that the Introduction to Dry Point workshop, being held in collaboration with the Royal British Columbia Museum on January 24-26, is sold out. However, the Museum is taking a waitlist for folks who didn’t get an opportunity to register.

Dates

Friday, January 24:  6 – 8 p.m. at Xchanges Gallery & Studios. Introductions, logistics, tools discussion. 

Saturday, January 25: 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.  at Royal BC Museum. Teaching to take place in the Community Room. Choose an object from the handling collection for use  in the workshop. Bring your own lunch. 

Sunday, January 26: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at  Xchanges Gallery & Studios. Demonstration of inking with non-toxic soy-based inks, proof plates and discuss artwork and approaches. Clean up.
