Xchanges is thrilled to announce our first virtual opening, celebrating the work of over 40 artists in two online exhibitions simultaneously! The recent Provincial Health Orders and strong signals from Dr. Bonnie Henry for people to limit social contact gave us a pause – but we decided to make lemonade and get the work of these artists online.
The Annual Xchanges Members’ Exhibition this year is entitled A Moment in Time, which seems very appropriate given the times we find ourselves in today. This exhibit features a wonderful variety of media in 2d and 3d works by 16 artist members from Canada and 2 from the USA.
The Covid LIFE: Virtual Drawing in the Time of Covid is an exhibition conceived of last May when we took our life drawing programs online and presents a selection of drawings from May to December 2020. There are 39 participants – 17 Canadian artists, 9 American artists, 9 Canadian models and 4 American models!

The event will be live streamed via Facebook Live and recorded for later viewing on the Xchanges YouTube Channel.
