In this group of new paintings and drawings, Kate Scoones continues her exploration around ideas of nostalgia and memory. With found and personal photographs as source material, themes of reminiscence; the domestic sphere; and a day at the beach are examined. Kate layers and sands thin washes of paint to create objects both polished and worn.
