By application of painting, stitching and quilting layers of rubber and vinyl materials I am able to push conventional traditions in sculpture and painting to multi dimensional boundaries. With a unique soft textile quality, a symphony of rubber transforms space into an environment of a curious nature engaging all of the senses. —Jillan Valpy
