Marcia Perkins has longtime interests in drawing, portraiture and the figure, and this exhibit brings these together in a series of drawings of men and women who all posed in the same chair. The drawings offer a visual discussion of human form and gesture as they depict the different ways in which each of the sitters “inhabits” and adapts to this piece of furniture.
