“Eggery” is an exploration of contemporizing pysanky, the traditional Ukrainian egg dyeing craft. The series consists of old family photos, transferred onto duck eggs, and then broken and scanned on a flatbed scanner. Eggery is currently published in the January–February edition of FRONT Magazine, published by The West Front Society in Vancouver, BC.

This is the 5th solo exhibition for Jocelyn Beyak, who graduated with a BFA in Visual Art from the University of Victoria in 2007. Her 2009 exhibitions include Intrepid Theatre, The Slide Room Gallery, and Place des Arts in Coquitlam, BC.
