September 30th marks National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day – Every Child Matters

This is a day to recognize survivors, their families, and communities while publicly remembering the history and colonial legacy of the residential school system implemented across Turtle Island aka Canada. The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation was established by the Canadian government in response to Call to Action 80 of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
