Derk Wolmuth

EMBROIL

March 7 to 23, 2025

Moving into the longer days of spring, with still a titch of winter, Wolmuth, using sculptural installations, reflects upon the instability and rise of nativism, and the ordering of matter through beliefs.  Domestic objects are transfigured as mute utterances to these ‘interesting times’. His sculptures are crafted with a focused austerity that often reflects fears, compulsions, and embodiment.
