Strange and wonderful surface effects on canvas and board with acrylic paints, dyes, plaster, home-made moulding and texture pastes. Learn ways to apply and embed found objects in your artwork, use organic materials, recycled fabrics and anything else you can find to make the most unique wall-mounted artworks around.

Printmaking Workshops

General Information

Combining self-directed & guided learning, Alain Costaz leads this intensive workshop for beginner and experienced printmakers.

These workshops offer choices in black and white and colour intaglio including etching, drypoint, collograph, poupee, multi-plate and chine-colle techniques as well as oil and water-based monoprint, relief (lino) and stencil techniques.

  • Choose an area of interest, then work with the instructor as a technical resource,
  • develop skills for specific projects, or
  • explore new creative avenues in printmaking.
     

Schedule: Workshops are held throughout the year.

Structure: 3-hour segments, 4 sessions

Cost: $145 (+ $25 for Ground Zero membership).

Includes most supplies (except edition paper and plate), access to studio equipment, library, activities.

Maximum four students.
